Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area

Officially named Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Grazing, Wildlife and Provincial Recreation Area, this park supports a variety of outdoor recreation activities, as well as grazing and Indigenous and seasonal hunting.

 

 


Waskehegan South (Central Alleyway to Lost Lake Trail)

This trail connects trails in the north to trails in the south.  It is a long, straight section of trail that eventually winds around Arrow Head Lake. 


  • Equestrian use is permitted only north of the junction with Central Alleyway Trail.

Backcountry Shelters are being repaired. Trail conditions leading up to Meadow,  Shelter and trail access may be disrupted and/or closed.
