This trail passes through one of the best areas for elk viewing.  Equestrian users can connect from Central Staging Area to the Blackfoot Trail in the north of the park.

  • In winter, the trail is shared equestrian and cross-country skiing. It is normally set with one track.
  • During early February, the trail is set with two tracks for the Canadian Birkebeiner Ski Festival and equestrian use is not permitted.
