Warning

Warning: no bridge exists across Evan Thomas creek on Wedge Connector trail.

Wedge Connector was extended from close to where it enters the Evan-Thomas flood plain, paralleling the creek on the south side through open forest, crossing hwy 40 to meet up with Bill Milne trail approx. 100 meters north of Mt. Kidd RV park.  This trail will offer better skiing, as it is less exposed to the elements and offers better snow retention, and does not conflict with the numerous hikers on Evan-Thomas trail, which it has replaced.

Being new, the trail is still rough and some kinks will need to be worked out. Ski with care and use caution crossing hwy 40.
