West Bragg Creek Trail Report

Trail Maps

Updated: August 9, 2018 | Print Report

West Bragg Creek trails have good conditions. Hiking, riding and equestrian use are possible, but please avoid or bypass wet areas after rainfall to reduce damage. Smoky/hazy conditions are likely, persons with respiratory concerns should take care if undertaking physical activity. Exercise caution around moving water, especially during rainfall events, however rivers have generally receded.

Notes:

  1. Be wildlife aware - it is berry season! Bears are out and actively foraging on berry bushes - traveling in groups, keeping pets on leash and carrying bear spray is highly recommended. See the Wildlife Safety page for more information.
  2. The All Season Trails system was created in partnership with the Government of Alberta and the Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association (GBCTA). Please visit the GBCTA website to learn more.
  3. Caution is advised for natural hazards such as downed trees and other natural hazards.

Closures:

  1. Tom Snow Trail from Mountain Road to Moose Loop - Bear Closure
