Terrace North (Winter)

A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.
Ice Safety: Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions; learn how to assess them for yourself.

Terrace Trail has two common sections - Terrace North of and south of the junction with Kovach.
The northern section of Terrace Trail heads from the Kovach Junction to the Ribbon Creek Day Use Area and is groomed and trackset for both classic and skate techniques. Lower 100 meters of trail is shared with other winter users. 

Non-skiers are not permitted on most of the trail, as defined by on trail signage, and must use Studless trail as the alternative.
