Spruce Coulee Campground is in Cypress Hills Provincial Park, 30 km southeast of Medicine Hat on Hwy. 1 and 40 km south on Hwy. 41. This pretty little forested campground sits at the edge of a small lake and has 9 walk-in only tenting sites. Some sites are surrounded by trees and others have lake views. There is a hand launch for boats and trails nearby. It's a nice quiet base for exploring Cypress Hills. Laze on the beach, go boating on the lakes, hike, bike, or enjoy an interpretive program. In winter enjoy tobogganing, skating, snowshoeing, downhill skiing or cross-country skiing on groomed trails.
