Firerock Campground is in Cypress Hills Provincial Park, 20 km southeast of Medicine Hat on Hwy. 1 and 30 km south on Hwy. 41. There are both unserviced and powered sites here suitable for RVs or tents. Many sites in the upper loop are surrounded by trees for privacy, while the lower loop offers close lake access and lakeside sites in an open meadow. Cypress Hills is a large park with many amenities and activities to offer. Laze on the beach, go boating on the lakes, hike, bike, or enjoy an interpretive program. In winter enjoy tobogganing, downhill skiing or cross-country skiing on groomed trails.
