Lodgepole Campground is in Cypress Hills Provincial Park, 20 km southeast of Medicine Hat on Hwy. 1 and 30 km south on Hwy. 41. There are 49 RV and tent-friendly sites perched in the hilly pine forest. It is just a few minutes drive from Elkwater and Elkwater Lake. Cypress Hills is a large park with many amenities and activities to offer. Laze on the beach, go boating on the lakes, hike, bike, or enjoy an interpretive program. In winter enjoy tobogganing, skating, snowshoeing, downhill skiing or cross-country skiing on groomed trails.
Please note: Both Cypress Hills Provincial Park-Alberta and Cypress Hills Provincial Park-Saskatchewan have campgrounds named Lodgepole. Please ensure that you are aware this campground is in Alberta Parks.

Firewood can be purchased in Elkwater townsite.
WaterPlease bring your own water. Water from the hand pump/tap is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.
Water is shut off for the winter season.
Flush toilets, showers and drinking water are available year-round at the Lakeview shower house, located near the campground registration booth.
