Directions

Elkwater Campground is in Cypress Hills Provincial Park, 20 km southeast of Medicine Hat on Hwy. 1 and 30 km south on Hwy. 41. Here there are 72 RV-friendly sites with power and water hookups in an open mixed forest. There is close access to a playground, flush toilets, showers, and walking trails to the waterfront. Cypress Hills is a large park with many amenities and activities to offer. Laze on the beach, go boating on the lakes, hike, bike, or enjoy an interpretive program. In winter enjoy tobogganing, skating, snowshoeing, downhill skiing or cross-country skiing on groomed trails

Water

Water is shut off for the winter season.

Flush toilets, showers and drinking water are available year-round at the Lakeview shower house, located near the campground registration booth.
