Designated Camping Areas 1-7 will open for 2020 on May 1.
Castle Tree Cutting Permits are issued by Alberta Environment and Parks staff, Mon - Fri from 8:15 to 4:30. (offices are closed from 12 to 1 p.m.)
Snowmobiles are permitted on designated winter trails and random ride areas in the Castle Provincial Parks. Use at your own risk. Please be respectful to non-motorized trail users and avoid wildlife. Check out the Winter Guide and Map for full OHV requirements and a trail map.
You are expected to bring your own drinking water year-round. In winter, no water is available. In summer, water from pumps or taps in the area may be used ONLY for purposes like putting out a campfire. Government of Alberta regulations require that water from pumps/taps like those in the area NOT be used for drinking, cooking or washing (including brushing teeth and washing dishes).
