Castle Falls Day Use Area offers a small parking area with easy access to an outhouse, information signs, and picnic sites with fire pits, all within a short walking distance to the scenic waterfall. Visitors often enjoy spotting bull trout in the deep pools or wading downstream of the falls. For your safety, never enter the water above the waterfall, always wear a lifejacket, and be cautious of cold mountain water.
Additional parking is available beside the main lot, and overflow parking farther up the road may be needed on busy summer weekends.
Castle Tree Cutting Permits are issued by Alberta Forestry and Parks staff, Mon - Fri from 8:15 to 4:30. (offices are closed from 12 to 1 p.m.). Tree cutting is not permitted within the Syncline Trail Network or within 100 meters of a waterbody anywhere in Castle Provincial Park.
