This trail goes through open meadows and forested areas. It has dramatic views of Mount Wintour and the Opal Range. The trail connects with Lookout Trail, Whiskey Jack Trail and Rolly Road Trail, as well as Highway #40.

Visitors are asked to purchase a day or season parking pass from Nordiq Alberta to use the trails. Revenue from the sales will cover the costs of trail grooming and maintenance. It’s $10 for a day pass or $50 for the season. More information...

Groomed and trackset from Lynx to Whiskey jack in the morning hours of April 16th; Pocaterra Hut to Lynx was done in the early hours of April 10th.  A couple of ice patches exist between Lynx and Packers, and many will exist north of Lynx, likely joined by burgeoning bare patches in a few places.

On April 18th, just the short section from Whiskey Jack to Tyrwhitt was groomed and trackset.
