This trail winds its way through pine forests to the old Kananaskis River Canyon. It returns on the old riverbed along walkways and stairs. The trailhead is near the entrance of Loop B at Canyon Campground.

Trail is currently closed due to damage sustained during dam development work.

Warning

Stream crossings washed away by penstock/dam construction. The trail is now out-and-back or the route can be attempted with two stream fords.
