The interpretive loop is 1.5 km. From the Elkwood Amphitheatre parking lot, it is an additional 0.8 km to access the loop. This makes a 3.1 km return distance from the amphitheatre. The interpretive trail winds its way through forest and wetland to Marl Lake. The trail is accessed from the Elkwood Amphitheatre parking lot or the campground. Due to the steepness of grades and distance, we recommend a companion for wheelchair users.
