What makes a grassland a grassland? A spruce forest a spruce forest? Students will collect a variety of data on the biotic and abiotic characteristics of ecosystems to answer these very questions. Using field study equipment and exploring areas of Fish Creek Provincial Park students will make observations and gather data to discover the complexities of ecosystems as well as the impacts of development and human use in the park.
