The 24-hour race categories are:
-Solo Racers
-Teams of 4-5
-Teams of 2
-Or Corporate teams of 6-10
Race course
The race utilizes the fast and flowy cross country trail system. These are expertly constructed trails consisting of mainly blue level single track.
Course length: 13.4 km : Elevation gain: 386 meters
Timing: Zone4 chip timing
Aid stations: 1 aid station mid way on course stocked with sports drink and energy bars

-Special areas for camping (Only permitted under Special Event permit)
-Daylodge
-Olympic, Centennial, Killer Bees, Rundle, Ziggy's, Nector Noodle, The Albertan, Swamp, Meadowview, Sherwood Forest, EKG, FYI, Lillehammer, Get In, Albertville, Banff, Silvertip, Long Road to Ruin, Blue Coal Chutes, Georgetown Climb, Orchid, Canmore Trail).

Friday July 26
1-9PM: Gates open for participants to move in
3-9PM: Race package pick up (Canmore Nordic Centre, 2nd floor Meeting Room B)
Saturday July 27
7-10AM: Security gate open for participants to move in
8-10AM: Race package pickup
11:00AM: 24HR Racers meeting
11:20: Volunteer meeting
12:00: Race starts
Sunday July 28
12:00: Race ends
1:30PM: 24 hour race awards
Parking & Camping
Parking and camping will be available in the designated areas as assigned by registration. The Canmore Nordic Centre will remain open to other users throughout the event. Obey all volunteer to ensure access for emergency vehicles and other park users.
There will be a “quiet” zone for camping as well as a “party zone”. There is also a bike wash station sponsored by Squirt lube. Potable water is available on site but to avoid lineups, it is recommended to bring your own water supply
Parking Pass (Event)
Only one vehicle is allowed onsite at any time for solo racers, two person and 4-5 person teams. Corporate teams are allowed 2 vehicles onsite. This includes set-up and tear-down times. A pass system will be implemented at the front gate of the Canmore Nordic Centre to ensure vehicle restrictions are adhered to. This policy allows us to manage parking congestion.
A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required for all vehicles parking at the Canmore Nordic Centre.
Parking & Tent Allowance
Solo Racers
● Tent camping - 10’ x 10’ on course pit tent
● One parking stall in the main parking area. This can include a camper van, but an RV is not permitted.
Two Person and 4-5 Person Teams
● One RV parking stall
● One vehicle parking stall

Corporate Teams
● One RV parking stall
● Two vehicle parking stalls
● Tent camping
4 Hour Blitz Race
