People can now enjoy an alcoholic beverage of their choice with their food in select day-use area picnic sites starting at noon on June 28th.
Signs in the designated parks will indicate which day-use area picnic sites allow liquor consumption.
All other regulations will continue to be enforced to ensure all visitors to be able to enjoy the parks in their own way. See the July Long Weekend News Release for details.

Special Events Permits
We are making it easier for organizations hosting festivals, concerts and special events in provincial parks to have participants consume liquor.
For the summer of 2019, we will develop a policy that supports a more permissible approach to approving liquor at special events.
