Mt. Lorette Ponds Day Use Area is a popular spot for picnics, fishing, and gentle strolls on a 1 km accessible trail around the pond. Reflections of Mt. Lorette in the clear waters provide excellent photo opportunities. The ponds are stocked with trout periodically in spring and summer.

  • The accessibility of Mt. Lorette is dependent on weather conditions. Trails do not have snow clearing.
    • Trail surface: Asphalt
    • Trail length: Main loop is 700m, secondary is loop 230m
    • Trail width: Main trail >2 meters, picnic areas access 1-2m
    • Trail slope: Minimal elevation change
    • Known hazards: Vegetation can lessen the trail clearance.
