Details:Heavy rain is expected in the Bow Valley area, and river levels are already high, with some areas experiencing flooding along the Bow River. Visitors should be aware that flooding may occur and use extreme caution. Backcountry users need to be aware that rising water levels could impact navigation. Continue to check for updates to Advisories and local weather reports before heading out.
Whitefish Day Use Area is situated on the Bow River and invites visitors to unwind in nature. Open seasonally, it is ideal for picnicking, fishing, and strolling along the 4.1 km out-and-back Bow River Interpretive Trail.
