Cypress Hills Provincial Park offers a variety of environmental and outdoor education for your class. Our programs are based on outdoor skills using problem solving techniques.

Fire Lighting: Flint and steel

- Discover the secrets of fire lighting.This program will give you the skills to light fires in outdoors.


 Winter Shelter Building:
Ever wonder how you can stay warm outside on cold winter nights. This program will go over the basics of winter shelters, including quinzees, trench and tarps.

The Outdoor Education at Cypress Hills Provincial Park can be adapted to suit the needs of your class or group. Programs can be tailored for skill and physical activity level. If you are interested in booking a program, please call or email to discuss details. Camping and accommodation are also available in the Park.
