Threepoint Mountain

A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley. Ice Safety: Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions; learn how to assess them for yourself.

This trail connects Big Elbow Trail to Volcano Creek Trail and Gorge Creek Trail. After fording the Elbow River, the trail climbs steeply over the pass between Threepoint and Forgetmenot Mountains, providing access to the former Three Point Backcountry Campground, which currently accommodates random backcountry camping
