Prairie Creek (Winter)

A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

The first two kilometers of this trail climb the edge of a cool, shaded canyon. Once over the promontory over the creek, the trail drops down and follows a series of beaver ponds and wide meadows.

Horse use is not recommended East of Prairie Link due to narrow trail and unstable, shale-type footing that presents a challenge for horses.
