The Alberta World Cup Society is excited to organize and host over 150 of the world’s leading Para Cross-Country Skiing athletes at the world-renowned Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park. This event is a collaborative effort, proudly presented in partnership with Nordiq Canada and the International Ski and Snowsport Federation (FIS).
Kicking off this momentous occasion is the Opening Ceremony on December 3rd, 2025,at the Canmore Civic Centre. This special date aligns with the International Day for Persons with Disabilities, offering a powerful start to a week of incredible sport and celebration of ability.
About Para Cross-Country Skiing Para Cross-Country Skiing showcases incredible talent from athletes with various physical impairments, who are classified into three categories: sitting, standing, and visually challenged. Many of these elite competitors also excel in biathlon races.
