Leyland Basin (Farmers Valley)

  • Take First Whitehorse Creek Falls Trail. When the valley opens up (at approximately 0.8 km), take the first trail on the right.
  • This old mining road goes 0.9 km steeply up, past some huge fallen rocks. The valley opens up but the trail has been washed out. You can either continue up the rocky creek bed or take the occasionally deep-cut horse side trail.
  • The road continues on the right for about 1.3 km up to an old quarry site with the remains of abandoned equipment.
