      Let’s become Nature Navigators! After learning how to use natural clues, a compass, and a map, students will embark on an exciting journey through the park to uncover hidden locations and solve the Miquelon Mystery. Along the way, they’ll discover the rich history of Miquelon Lake Provincial Park and explore how the land and people have changed over time. This program supports key outcomes from the Grade 5 Social Studies curriculum.

      Students will:

      • Go on a guided walk to learn how nature reveals direction
      • Practice using a compass and chart a course through the park
      • Use maps to find hidden clues and solve a park-wide mystery
      • Explore the story of Miquelon Lake through different historical periods
