Elbow Loop Public Recreation

A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

    This route is accessed via the snowmobile from the Dawson Day Use area on the Powderface Road. The journey requires additional fuel and there are no open camping facilities in the winter months. 

    Elbow Loop Public Recreation Trail is open for snowmobiles Jan. 1 to March 31 conditions permitting.
