Whitehorse Wildland Provincial Park

Alberta Parks

Trails

    • The trails listed are the main trails in Whitehorse Wildland Park. There are many other unmarked trails and trail intersections that are less well-defined.   Always stay on the most obvious route if in doubt.
    • Trails here are not regularly maintained. Expect some rough walking, wet areas and creek crossings.
    • In the mountains, weather can change suddenly.  It can snow even during summer months! Plan hiking trips accordingly - be prepared for all weather conditions.
    • Distances provided in the trail descriptions are approximations only.
    • Mountain biking is permitted on Upper Whitehorse Creek Trail only.  Other areas in the park are unsuitable or too fragile for mountain biking.
