Explore the picturesque winter trails in Kananaskis Country, by snowshoe. Students will discover the survival strategies of wildlife during this full day program. Through hands on activities, games and stories, students will gain an understanding of how animals survive harsh winter conditions. Students will explore actual research techniques used by Park Ecologists to help inform management in Alberta Parks. Students learn about their own comfort in the winter and are rewarded with a great sense of accomplishment.
