Freshwater Monitoring Booking

A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

    Bookings:

    This program is offered in partnership with the Elbow River Watershed Partnership (ERWP), who has a part-time program administrator who facilitates the bookings for this specific program. To request a program(s) Email [email protected] with the following information on or after the following dates: February 1 (annually) for Spring programs and June 1 (annually) for Fall programs:

    • School name, address and telephone number
    • Name and email of the Lead Teacher (main contact)
    • Name(s) and email address(es) of all participating teachers
    • Grade
    • Number of classes and number of students per class
    • Preferred dates

    Fees:

    • Program fees are $400/program.
    • Schools are invoiced at the time of booking, with payment due 1 week post program. Schools can pay via e-transfer or by cheque payable to the Elbow River Watershed Partnership. Mail cheques to:

    • Transportation to and from the field study site is NOT included.
    • High needs schools may receive assistance. Please contact [email protected] to discuss payment options.

    Logistics

    • All field programs are full-day with times modified to meet schools bussing needs.
    • Programs are booked on a first come, first serve basis.

    • We believe that everyone belongs outside. We support the participation of all students in park experiences and programs, regardless of ability.
