Sandy McNabb Trail Report

Updated: April 22, 2019

Updated: April 22, 2019 | Print Report

    Annual Road Closures:

    1. Highway 546: Closed from December 1 to May 14, 2019

    Notes:

    1. Live Grooming Report for Sandy McNabb.
    2. Pack appropriately for changing conditions, including traction devices/hiking poles, and don't forget to dress in layers!
    3. Be wildlife aware! Traveling in groups, making noise on trail, keeping pets on leash and carrying bear spray is highly recommended. See the Wildlife Safety page for more information.
    4. Caution is advised for natural hazards such as downed trees and other natural hazards.
    5. It's tick season and we recommend that if you are out recreating that you check yourself and your pets once your outing is complete. Since ticks take several hours to find a suitable site to penetrate the skin, they usually can be found and removed before they attach, however, if you've been bitten and experience fever, headaches, abdominal pain, a rash, nausea or vomiting, you should consult a physician and make him/her aware of the tick bite.
