Details: There is no water available from the hand pump at Cache Lake Campground, Jarvis Lake Campground and at Kelleys Bathtub Day Use Area. Please come prepared with your own water. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
The Joachim Valley Trail winds through meadows and aspen forests offering lovely views of the mountains and foothills. It is a popular destination for cross-country skiing. The trail is well known for the remains of a small airplane once used in rescue training and a beautiful log shelter known as the Hanington Hut.
Alberta Parks offers fantastic cross-country skiing in the Northern Rockies. The Joachim Valley trail is in very good condition and is groomed to the cabin Come and connect with nature in Switzer Park.
