  • Construction Advisory - William A. Switzer - Bridge Construction

      January 21, 2021

      • The bridge spanning Kelley's Bathtub is being replaced during the winter months of 2021.
      • Construction is slated to begin January 28th, 2021 and may take several weeks to complete.  
      • Kelly's Bathtub Loop trail will be CLOSED for the duration of construction for public, and worker's safety.

  • Winter Safety Notice - Ice Safety

      December 3, 2020

      Travel on ice at your own risk. Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions for safety.

      • No ice is ever 100% safe.
      • Despite winter conditions, open water has been reported in this area.
      • Warm underground springs may suddenly soften or melt lake ice.

  • Fall/Winter Camping - William A. Switzer

      September 16, 2020

      Gregg Lake Campground:

      • 2020 off-season camping is available at Gregg Lake Campground in Lakeside Loop (sites 1-16) on a First Come, First Serve basis. Payment is by cash or cheque.
      • Power sites, and power/water sites will close September 8th at 2 PM.
      • Sewage disposal, flush toilets, and shelters are closed until the 2021 camping season resumes.
      • Firewood sales are available until September 27th from Kelley’s Bathtub Visitor Centre.
      • Please bring your own potable water.
      • Limited facility and road maintenance through winter.

      Jarvis Lake Campground:

      • 2020 off-season camping is available at Jarvis Lake Campground on a First Come, First Serve basis. Payment is by cash or cheque.
      • Firewood sales are available until September 27th from Kelley’s Bathtub Visitor Centre.
      • Please bring your own potable water.
      • Limited facility and road maintenance through winter.

      Graveyard Lake Campground:

      • 2020 off-season camping is available at Graveyard Lake Campground on a First Come, First Serve basis. Payment is by cash or cheque.
      • Firewood sales are available until September 27th from Kelley’s Bathtub Visitor Centre.
