  • World Snow Day

    Come out and Celebrate World Snow Day at Switzer Park!

    Snowshoe, Cross Country Ski, Toboggan, Ice Fish, Winter Camp, Have a Campfire

    Learn to Ski Clinic from 12noon-4pm with free equipment rentals onsite

    Free Snowshoe rentals onsite

    Come into the Visitor Centre at Kelley's Bathtub to: Start an Outdoor Scavenger Hunt, Visit the colouring station, Enter the door prize draw

  • Hinton Chilli Loppet

  • Free Fishing Weekend - February

    Saturday, February 15, 2020 - Monday, February 17, 2020

    Family Day Weekend is free Family Fishing Weekend in Alberta - no licence required!

    • Come give fishing a try in provincial parks with water bodies with open fishing seasons (not in national parks). All Alberta Fishing Regulations apply, including size and limits; be sure to be aware of annual changes to regulations
    • Check the Alberta Guide to Sportfishing Regulations

  • Family Day Snowshoe

    Monday, February 17, 2020
    • Meet at 1:00 pm, plan on a 2-2.5 hour snowshoe
    • Casual guided snowshoe through the forest; No experience necessary
    • Led by ACC member Wayne Campbell
    • Snowshoes provided if needed; Bring warm clothing, warm footwear, water, snack
