Operational Service Change - Winter Camping Information

Please note the following as you prepare for your winter visit to Carson-Pegasus:

Loops A,B,C,D,E,F and G are closed for the winter.
Loop H is first come, first served. Power remains on in the powered sites. Payment can be made by cash or cheque in the self-registration vault just past the Seawall Parking Lot at the entrance to G and H loops.
The Campground Booth and Store are closed. Please bring your own firewood.
The water system is shut down including flush toilets, shower houses, taps in loops, sani dump and fill station. Please bring water with you.
The wooden docks have been removed from McLeod and Little McLeod Lakes. The floating docks are not accessible from shore for the winter.
Snow removal from roadways within the park may be delayed by a few days following a snowfall.

Group A has individual unserviced sites nestled in the forest along a loop road. A clearing in the middle of the loop offers an open grassy area for sports, including a volleyball net and a rustic basketball hoop. The shelter is a great spot to gather, eat and recreate, with a fireplace inside and large doors that allow picnic tables to be moved inside or outside. Trails from the group area connect to the main campground and the backcountry hiking/biking loop. There are 2 outhouses and water taps located here.
