Visitor Service Attendants are often the first point of contact for Sikome Aquatic Facility visitors. Their role is to create a positive experience by providing useful and up to date information about current day facility activities, rules and regulations and available site amenities. The role focuses on front-line customer service, cash handling, facility access/crowd control and administrative duties.
The role to provide exceptional customer service that enhances visitors’ recreation experience by monitoring entry/exit points, providing current day facility operational updates, promptly conducting voluntary bag checks to ensure compliance with permitted items, processing point of sale transactions for admissions, concession and retail purchases and responding to inquiries. This role also assists with conditions of use compliance, crowd control and emergency response.
The Visitor Service Attendant Crew Lead is a leadership position that directly supervises a team of Visitor Service Attendants. The Lead position works alongside their team while providing field level coaching and mentoring to ensure adherence to policy, procedure and occupational health and safety plans. Leads also focus on daily operations including higher level administrative and leadership tasks, such as scheduling, staff training, time entry and approvals, statistical and incident reporting etc.
