Dom is an elopement photographer who spends as much time as possible exploring the Alberta outdoors with her husband Reid, toddler Aster, and the family dogs, Pippin & Stoke. Together, they like to hike, backpack, trailer and tent camp, fish, hunt, snowshoe, cross-country ski, and pretty much anything else that gets them outside as a family. To them, nothing beats the memories made when you’re out exploring nature. They hope to inspire other young families to get outside and see what this beautiful province has to offer!
Aimee was born and raised in Southern Alberta and has grown up with a deep appreciation for both the mountains and the grasslands. She grew up alongside her family’s passion for wildlife conservation, and has pursued a similar career path as a biologist. Aimee is passionate about sharing her love for wildlife and environmental conservation through her photography and career.
In her free time, Aimee can be found exploring Parks with her partner and their English Setters, birdwatching, or fishing. When not exploring the outdoors, you can find her curled up with a new book or pursuing her newest hobby of pottery.
I'm originally from Czech Republic and have been exploring the Canadian Rockies since 2014. I've always loved mountains but didn't really hike much until I got my dog and found out that she wouldn't walk in the city but has no problems to hike for hours in the mountains. And that's when we've started to spend as much time in the mountains as possible. You can find us hiking year-round and when conditions are right we also enjoy skijoring. Hoping to inspire other people with dogs to hike safely, know and follow the rules and enjoy these beautiful mountains with their best friends!
Born and raised in Alberta, I grew up loving the outdoors and have maintained that enthusiasm throughout my life, with the great fortune of having many adventures with my husband and daughter over the years. Now that we’re empty nesters, we have a whole new way to be adventurous and enjoy the outdoors.
Of importance for me as a Black woman, is shedding light on the Nature Gap in Alberta and challenging assumptions & expectations about the Black diaspora as it relates to our community’s desire to engage in outdoor adventure.
Tent camping, canoeing, day trip picnicking and hiking are some of my favourite activities to do! This year I look forward to adding solo hiking, fishing, paddle boarding and snow shoeing to my list of adventures.

Jared and Taffin truly embrace anything that comes their way, and love to inspire other like minded individuals to fill their cups and live their best adventure exploring the outdoors, however that may look!
Lucy is a lifelong lover of nature, wildlife and the wilderness. After her first visit to Alberta she was hooked on the beauty and diversity from the badlands and prairies to mountain peaks and everything in between and moved west less than a year later. Lucy enjoys camping, hiking, cross country skiing, birdwatching, and paddling in Alberta's amazing parks with her husband Tim, their son Leon and their dog Arrow. She hopes to spark a similar love of the outdoors in others, especially those also learning to adventure with young children. When she's not exploring the outdoors, Lucy works for a wildlife conservation organization and creates nature-inspired artwork.
During the week I work for Alberta Registry. On weekends or my days off, you can find me moving around the province to visit our many Provincial and National parks. I have been a lifelong lover of the wilderness, exploring the Canadian Rockies since childhood. I enjoy camping, hiking, backpacking, paddling and I spend as much time as possible exploring the Alberta outdoors. Nothing beats the memories made exploring nature. I hope to inspire other people to get outside and see what this beautiful province has to offer!

She has been eager to explore the many wonderful Alberta Parks other than her usual Kananaskis Country haunts. Becoming an Alberta Parks Ambassador is a perfect match for her at the perfect time. Mandy likes to tell people: "I believe we were born to be active, by nature and when we are active in nature, it can bring profound joy, a sense of accomplishment and wonder, in addition to dramatically improving health or maintaining optimal health.
During the week I work for the City of Edmonton's Urban Forestry Department as one of many tasked with the maintenance and health of the city's urban forest. Off work hours and weekends, you can find me travelling around the province to the many provincial and national parks. I enjoy camping, hiking and I'm always in search of breathtaking photos of the landscape, wildlife and the night sky. My recent passion has been bird wildlife photography and capturing the many species that call Alberta Parks home.
