Sundance by Basecamp

Sundance by Basecamp (formerly known as Sundance Lodges) is a privately-run commercial facility located off Highway 42 along the Kananaskis River. On property you’ll find 65 sites consisting of trapper tents, full size tipi’s and regular campsites. Each sleeps 2-4 people (equipped with wooden floors, beds, kerosene heater & lantern/fuel supplied).

  • The Trading Post (general store) on site offers camping rental equipment (bedding, propane pits, cooking gear), basic groceries, gifts and souvenirs.
  • There are three water well pumps on site, however it is recommended to boil the water prior to consuming.
