Where: CN Station Building Day Use , Vermilion Provincial Park

Details: Due to damages caused by summer rain storms and leakage, the CN Station will remain closed to the public until the building can be repaired and declared safe for public use. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Details: Snow fencing has been put up along Saskatoon Trail to help ensure users do not go on eroded areas. Please do not cross the snow fence. Trail access is not affected at this time. Location: Approximately 600 m from Lower Day Use Area trailhead, before merging with Lakeside Trail

Where: Vermilion Provincial Park

Details: A short connector trail between Saskatoon Trail and Fescue Trail is temporary closed due to wet conditions on the clay hill. Please use alternate routes. 

This large campground has a range of sites, including unserviced, power, power/water, and sewer hookups, as well as pull-through sites. Some sites are separated by stands of trees, while others are open with trees for shade. All are suitable for RVs. Camp alongside the Vermilion River Reservoir to enjoy activities year-round. Walk, bike, or ski the trails, watch for birds and wildlife, or paddle in the reservoir.

  • Winter camping: Pull-thru sites B15, 17 & 19 remain open from October 31 to March 31. Self-registration is in effect during this period. No firewood is available in the winter. No water or showers are available. The Shell station in Vermilion offers a sani-dump.
  • During summer, some snacks are sold from the campground registration booth; no cooked foods.
