The results of a data search by ACIMS are not intended as a final statement on the presence, absence or condition of elements within a given area, or as a substitute for on-site surveys which may be required for environmental assessments.
Many individuals and organizations have contributed data to the Alberta Conservation Information Management System (ACIMS). Many areas in Alberta have never been comprehensively surveyed.
Please help us keep our databases as accurate and up-to-date as possible. Let us know if you relocate or fail to relocate a population described in one of our reports, or if you discover new species occurrences. Please notify us of any inaccuracies or discrepancies noticed in our data. Also, we appreciate hearing your suggestions on how our services could be more useful.
