Set in the scenic southwestern prairies of Alberta, Oldman Dam Provincial Recreation Area is a go-to destination for camping, water sports, and excellent river views, without the crowds! The park features two reservable campgrounds, a reservable Group Use Area, and two first come, first served campgrounds, providing options for families, groups, and solo travelers alike.

With multiple Day Use Areas and extensive shoreline access, visitors can enjoy windsurfing, kitesurfing, powerboating, fishing, paddling, or simply relaxing along the water. Whether you’re boating across the reservoir, exploring the prairie landscapes, or soaking in the views, Oldman Dam Provincial Recreation Area offers a perfect mix of recreation, scenery, and serenity.
