Natural Region Description

Formed when glaciers retreated more than 10,000 years ago, this area has been sculpted into a spectacular landscape of esker and kettle formations, wetlands and sand dunes. Plant and animal species common to both the Boreal Forest and Parkland natural regions are found in the park.
