Running Lake Provincial Recreation Area is 7 km east and 22 km north of Worsley. Set out by kayak, canoe, or paddleboard to explore the lake’s beauty from the water, reel in a brook or rainbow trout, or watch birds and other wildlife. Enjoy swimming in Running Lake on a hot summer day. Venture into the rugged boreal forest on trails that are perfect for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.

Location: 100 km north of Grande Prairie on Hwy. 2, 50 northwest on Hwy. 64 & 40 northwest on Hwy. 730 (7 km east and 22 km north of Worsley)
