Tour the campground and hiking trails in search of edible berries from the forest! When the berries aren't out yet, you can still identify a berry-bearing plant based on its flowers and/or leaves.
- While it is okay to taste a few edible berries in provincial parks, they are very important food sources for the wildlife and they play an important role in re-seeding the ecosystem, so you must get permission from a Conservation Officer before picking large quantities.
- Never eat any berry unless you are 100% certain of what it is and that it is safe to eat.
