A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

Ribbon Falls Backcountry Campground is in Spray Valley Provincial Park. Enjoy the beauty of your surroundings on your way to this scenic spot. There are tent pads, pit/vault toilets and secure food storage facilities here. Please note that it is illegal to remove, deface, injure/destroy trees, or collect deadwood. 

Primary access is at Ribbon Creek Day Use Area in Evan-Thomas Provincial Recreation Area, 24 km south of Hwy. 1 off Hwy. 40. This trail is 8.8 km one-way via the Ribbon Creek Trail with 375 metres of elevation gain.
