Sandy McNabb Equestrian Campground is a first-come first-served campground found in Sheep River Provincial Park, 21 km west of Turner Valley on Hwy. 546. There are over 20 well-treed sites suited to RVs and tents. Hitching rails, corrals, and a loading ramp are available for equestrian users. Enjoy the towering pine forest, views of the crystal clear Sheep River, as well as hiking, mountain biking and equestrian trails. Experience the Sheep River Valley from the saddle and discover why equestrians users keep coming back to this beautiful corner of Kananaskis.
Equestrian campgrounds are intended for campers bringing a horse. Please only book at an equestrian campground if you are using it for equestrian purposes as there are only a few campgrounds available to these users.
