A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.
Ice Safety: Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions; learn how to assess them for yourself.

Bluerock Equestrian Campground is found in Sheep River Provincial Park, 35 km west of Turner Valley on Hwy. 546. Sites are suitable for RVs and tents. The scenic Sheep River is nearby. There are hitching rails, corrals, and a loading ramp as well as access to nearby equestrian trails.

Equestrian campgrounds are intended for campers bringing a horse. Please only book at an equestrian campground if you are using it for equestrian purposes as there are only a few campgrounds available to these users.

Firewood available for purchase at manager's site and from firewood truck.

Water

Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.
