Kananaskis Village Ice Rink

Effective Date: October 15, 2024, until further notice.
Where: Kananaskis Village Ice Rink
Why: To facilitate construction activities relating to the replacement of vault toilets. Heavy equipment will be working on site and some sections of the parking areas will be temporarily closed. The Contractor will install temporary barricades, fencing, and signage to delineate work areas from allowable parking areas. Please respect all signs and fences and stay away from any active work zones.

Ribbon Creek Day Use Area Parking Lot

Where: Ribbon Creek Day Use Are Parking Lot
Why: To facilitate construction activities relating to the replacement of vault toilets, heavy equipment will be working on site and some sections of the parking areas will be temporarily closed. Ribbon Creek Day Use and surrounding area

Effective Date: August 26, 2024, until further notice.
Where: Trails surrounding Ribbon Creek
Why: Crews will be working in the area to support the Ribbon Prescribed Fire Project. No Burning will be taking place. There will be no trail closures. Crews will require access to trails for the purpose of OHV and ATV use for movement of equipment. They will be pruning, removing dead and downed trees and snags.
