Day use is permitted. Be prepared with your own hand sanitizer and toilet paper. Campgrounds are open at 50% capacity, this includes reserveable and first come, first served campgrounds. Second RV units will not be permitted on campsites, and only one household or cohort family permitted per site. Shared facilities, showers, picnic shelters and playgrounds are still currently closed. We are monitoring our actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and will adjust our operations as needed.

This natural area is a diverse complex of sand plains, active dunes, calcareous fens and riparian wetlands. The area preserves habitat for numerous breeding birds and includes sharp-tailed grouse dancing grounds.
