Officially named Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Grazing, Wildlife and Provincial Recreation Area, this park supports a variety of outdoor recreation activities, as well as grazing and Indigenous and seasonal hunting.

    Bookings

    • Curriculum-based environmental education programs are offered throughout the school year for pre-school to Grade 6.
    • Some programs can be brought into a school.  As well as Cooking Lake-Blackfoot, many programs take place at Miquelon Lake Provincial Park.
    • Programs are between 1-1.5 hours in length depending on the program.

    How to Book

    • Environmental Education bookings for the Fall and Winter season begin in August. Bookings for the Spring season (May-June) begin mid to late November. 
    • Programs are booked on a First Come-First-Served basis.

    • Assistance is available for high needs groups. Please enquire when booking.

      • Program name
      • Preferred dates for field trip
      • Number of students
      • Any special needs/requirements
