Camping Notes

Camping

Capacity is based on 20-foot units (including tow vehicle). Shower facilities are available in Castleview Campground, which is located on the north side of the river.

Firewood

Firewood is sold on-site from mid-May to Labour Day.

Water

Pending weather, normal water service is available by the May long weekend. To support water conservation and as a backup measure, campers are encouraged to bring a supply of drinking water. You are expected to bring your own water. Government of Alberta regulations require that water from pumps/taps like the one located here NOT be used for drinking, cooking or washing (including brushing teeth and washing dishes). Water from the pump/tap onsite can only be used for purposes like putting out a campfire.
