Please be advised that due to the ongoing rain and wet season - hiking trails in the North end of Whitney Lakes Provincial Park are now closed until further notice.  Trails are flooded and washed out. This includes the Esker Trail.

Where: Borden Backcountry Campground , Laurier Lake Day Use , Ross Lake Day Use , Ross Lake Campground , Ross Lake Area G Group Use , Ross Lake Area H Group Use , Whitney Lake Day Use , Whitney Lake Campground , Whitney Lakes Provincial Park

Higher than usual water levels have resulted in flooding many of the trails throughout the park. Be prepared to change your planned hiking routes.

The bridge at the north end of Laurier Lake has been removed, that section of the hiking trail is closed until further notice.

Please be advised that due to flooding, the Ross Lake hiking trail along the lake between Loop B and Loop D of the campground is closed.
